General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Payment by credit card (via Stripe)

After validation of the order, and by choosing a method of payment by card, you will be automatically redirected to the secure payment server (SSL) of Stripe. As soon as the payment is accepted or refused, you will receive an email from us. The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system is a safe and reliable system. We use this solution for all online transactions. Your bank details entered at the time of payment are secured and encrypted by the banking institution you have selected.
No payment data is stored on our site, thus eliminating any attempt at fraud or site hacking. The encryption service is provided by the payment processor Stripe.
All orders placed via the Valais Royale website (www.valaisroyale.ch) are governed by the following Terms and Conditions. By placing an order on the Valais Royale website, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. Valais Royale reserves the right to adapt and modify at any time the present General Conditions of Sale which will be immediately applicable to any new order.
In the event of a dispute, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in force at the time of the order shall apply.
Personal customer data is treated confidentially in accordance with the Data Protection Act and is not passed on or sold to third parties. Sensitive data, in particular credit card payment data, is transmitted encrypted and securely for authorization control. Only the data necessary for the processing of orders is recorded.
When registering on the Valais Royale website (www.valaisroyle.ch), you must ensure that the data you provide is correct. In the event of changes (change of name, address, etc.), please update your personal details as soon as possible. Valais Royale cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate personal data when placing an order.
The password you use to log in is strictly confidential and must not be disclosed to any third party. If you know or suspect that a third party is misusing your password or account, you must immediately inform Valais Royale. However, Valais Royale cannot be held liable in any way for any fraudulent use of a customer account.
The products sold are described on the website www.valaisroyale.ch at the time of sale. By placing an order on our website www.valaisroyale.ch, you agree to purchase the products you have selected in accordance with these General Terms of Sale. The products offered for sale on the www.valaisroyale.ch website are available depending on stocks.
Online orders are checked and any changes will be communicated to you by telephone or e-mail, provided that your personal details are complete. If not, Valais Royale reserves the right to send you your order without prior notice and cannot be held responsible for any failure to do so.
By confirming your order, you agree to all selected items in your shopping cart. From that moment on, the sales contract comes into force. Valais Royale reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a dispute with the customer.
The prices invoiced are those shown on the site on the date of the order and are net prices in Swiss Francs (CHF), including VAT. Delivery costs are not included in the price indicated. Valais Royale reserves the right to change prices without notice.
Delivery costs are charged according to the size of the order, the weight and volume of the parcel, as well as the delivery method chosen. Valais Royale reserves the right to modify the shipping costs without prior notice.
All confirmed orders are delivered to the address indicated on the order. Valais Royale can in no way be held responsible for incorrect personal data (address). If an item is out of stock, the customer will be informed immediately, provided that the personal details are up to date. Each article is produced and distributed by Valais Royale. Orders are delivered by Swiss Post or private carrier. Valais Royale will make every effort to post the order within 3 to 5 working days of its validation in the system. Valais Royale cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to deliver by the Swiss Post or private carrier. The commitment of the delivery is null and void in the event of failure or non-respect of the deadlines of supply on behalf of the suppliers. Valais Royale is entitled to cancel an order, even if it has been accepted, without having to give reasons to the customer. In such a case, the customer's claims against Valais Royale are limited to the return of the amounts paid, to the exclusion of any damages.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect the products delivered. If one or more of the products delivered are defective, the customer must notify Valais Royale within 3 working days of receipt. In the event of a defect, Valais Royale's guarantee is limited exclusively to the return and refund of the defective product. After 3 days from receipt of the order, the goods are considered accepted and no claims or returns will be accepted. Damage resulting from inappropriate storage does not give any right to compensation.
Regardless of the existence of a defect, the customer may return goods that are not suitable within 7 working days of receipt, provided that he/she has previously informed Valais Royale of the return of the goods within 2 working days of receipt of the order. Valais Royale will only accept returns of products that are in good condition, complete, undamaged and in their original packaging.
All products sold on the site are guaranteed to be of high quality and have a freshness guarantee date (expiry date on the packaging).
The price of purchases made on the site is due at the time the order is placed. Payments made by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) are debited immediately upon confirmation. Valais Royale does not have access to confidential information relating to the means of payment, as the information entered is encrypted and transmitted to the financial partner in a secure manner without Valais Royale having access to it. The risk of a system malfunction is borne by the customer.
Valais Royale will use its best endeavours to fulfil its obligations, but cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond its control such as strikes, wars, natural disasters or other reasons preventing the production, transport or delivery of the products.
Only the French version of the General Terms and Conditions of Use is binding. Any translation of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale is for information purposes only.
